T-Mobile has launched the first Google Android phone, the G1 to the public..Boston (ChattahBox) – T-Mobile has launched the first Google Android phone, the G1 to the public.

The T-Mobile G1 is immediately being seen as a must-buy for many.

Experts are touting the G1 as a device that can allow T-Mobile to go toe to toe with the BlackBerry, iPhone, and other smartphones.

Even before the launch, T-Mobile recorded over 1.5 million pre-orders for the G1.

The new device features a touch-screen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, as well as a trackball and other features.

The first Google Android phone will be priced at $179.
