Apple’s Cannabis App Helps Users Find Their High

(ChattahBox)—Apple’s latest iPhone app is certainly a bit out of the ordinary, but nevertheless extremely handy to iPhone users who need a dose of legal marijuana, complete with maps and directions to the nearest dispensary.

The application is appropriately named “Cannabis” and once opened up in an iPhone a map appears with all of the nearest medical marijuana dispensaries marked for convenience, including relevant information on each dispensary. Google maps are offered to help you get there quickly.

The app contains information on all 13 states where medical marijuana is legal, including parts of Europe that have legalized the herb.

If you are located in the 37 states that have not yet seen the light and legalized marijuana for medical use, the app provides information on local marijuana activist groups that may be able to offer a helping hand or toke.

Finally, the Cannabis app has thought of everything; the app also provides a comprehensive list of the nearest lawyers with contact information who specialize in marijuana cases, in case you run into a law enforcement official who isn’t aware of the local laws.

The founder of Ajnag.com, which offers an online medical marijuana locator service, developed the unique app.
