JetLev Offering Water-Powered Jet Pack (VIDEO)

(ChattahBox) — This could be big with thrill seekers and those that want to feel like a super hero, providing you have lot’s of money to spend on toys.  A Canadian company JetLev is now offering a  water-powered jet pack for a price of about $130,000, that can launch a person 30 feet into the air.

The JetLev system’s is powered and attached to a jet ski motor, and users are tethered by a 30-foot cable. The pack should be available this year.

Fox News (per the Huffington Post) recently ran a segment on the invention in which the editor of Discover magazine tried out the device. WATCH:
