Apple Beats Microsoft To The Punch On New Multi-Touch Mouse

October 20, 2009

U.S. (ChattahBox) – Apple has announced the release of their new ‘Magic Mouse’, a multi-touch mouse that allows users to interface with their computers by lightly dragging their fingers across the top.

It is remarkably similar to prototypes released a few weeks ago by Microsoft, who were also experimenting with the idea of multi-touch technology in a new, sleek mouse.

Apple latched onto the idea, and created theirs in a significantly little amount of time, quickly creating an image of dominance in a new industry.

While this illustrates perfectly the furthering domination of Apple in the gadget industry, it also shows a possible flaw in the company. Namely, their habit of rushing products ahead of holiday sales.

In any case, better luck next time Microsoft, and congrats to Apple for their swift action on this new product. We here at ChattahBox look forward to the debugged version that will be released a few weeks after this one, and will cost a few hundred dollars less.

It’s almost like setting your iPhone down next to your computer and using that to control it. It just needs a laser tracker built into it.
