Microsoft’s Bing Integrates Wolfram Alpha

November 11, 2009

(ChattahBox)—The upstart search engine, Microsoft’s Bing has been slowly, but steadily inching up on its competitor Google, gaining traffic and revenue. Now, Bing is enriching its search engine capabilities, with the new integration of the geeky computational search engine Wolfram Alpha.

Bing’s latest add on, joins previous integrations of Twitter and Facebook feeds. With the addition of Wolfram Alpha, users can now tweet, post on a friend’s Facebook wall and search for the geometric properties of a polygon; all from Bing’s main search portal.

The Wolfram Alpha features will be added over the next few days on a staggered roll out.
