New Device Turns Used Paper Into Toilet Paper

Japan (ChattahBox) – Oriental Co., Ltd. released their new office gadget for Eco-Products 2009, a machine that is able to take shredded paper of any kind and convert it into perfectly formed rolls of toilet paper.

The machine, named White Goat, has already won the top prize at the Monozukuri Nippon awards, and has generated a great deal of interest all over the world.

It works by taking the shredded paper of any kind and laying it within water. This removes all external elements while softening it.

It then flattens the paper into another consistency and dried it in long sheets, which are then wrapped around a cardboard tube and distributed with pul away squares.

It takes around 30 minutes to make a role, and the White Goat will save an estimated 60 ceder trees per year.

Priced at around $100,000, it is a cost effective and eco-friendly system for large corporations and companies that wish to reduce their carbon footprint.
