Firefighters Struggle To Battle Wildfires In Florida

Firefighters in Florida continue to work hard to control many fires across the state of Florida, the largest of which was seen in the Everglades...Miami (ChattahBox) – Firefighters in Florida continue to work hard to control many fires across the state of Florida, the largest of which was seen in the Everglades.

According to the Florida Division of Forestry, there were 90 fires stretched out across the state of Florida on Sunday.

The total spread of the fires is believed to be around 40,000 acres, with the majority of the fire covering Everglades National Park.

More than 12,000 acres burned in a fire near Palm Bay as well on Florida’s Atlantic Coast.

This has not only caused problems where the fires are themselves, but also abroad acorss Florida due to the blowing smoke.

Forecasters are now predicting that the smoke from the wildfire in the Everglades will likely hit Miami and other areas soon as well.
