A tornado struck in western Iowa on Wednesday at a wilderness Boy Scout camp.  3 Boy Scouts were killed in total, along with a youth staff member...Washington (ChattahBox) – A tornado struck in western Iowa on Wednesday at a wilderness Boy Scout camp. 3 Boy Scouts were killed in total, along with a youth staff member.

There were 120 people gathered at the camp to take part in what is known as a leadership program.

Things turned tragic though as the tornado ripped through the camp, injuring dozens on top of the 4 that were killed.

As of Thursday, the Associated Press has reported that 42 people remain in the hospital with injuries.

The injuries range from cuts, bruises, all the way to major head trauma.

The tornado was virtually a direct hit on the Little Sioux Scout Ranch, as an 1,800-acre area was left destroyed.
