According to Sgt. John Nevels, the worker in question got into a bit of a disagreement with his supervisor.

Following these words, he went on his half-hour break Tuesday night.

When he came back, he apparently got the supervisor to come outside with him.

Reports then state that workers at the plant heard a gunshot. The shooter then came back inside and shot others.

The plant had around 30 people in it working the overnight shift when he opened fire.

There is no word yet on a motive or anything of that nature. 4 co-workers were killed though before he killed himself.

Why the picture of the handgun to go along with this brief article? First of all there is no information in the article that the person used a handgun (it may have been a shot gun). Second, placing the picture of the handgun in the article reinforces the belief that guns kill people. PEOPLE kill people – the gun is merely the tool. I known, you will argue that if the man did not have access to a hand gun that he would not have committed the crime. Really? maybe he would have used a shotgun, or maybe as it Japan recently – where guns are banned, he would have simply used a knife and stapped a bunch of people. When will we get it right that we need CRIME control, not gun control. Delete the handgun picture and if you do not have a photo of the crime, the person or the location, don’t put any photo up!

Maybe if one of the other people at that factory was legally carrying a hand gun for protection, and knew how to use it, the killer may have been stopped. Guns can be used both ways you know.

I agree with the post by Peter Hunt, I myself was about to write a similar comment. Why the picture of the gun?? Your article doesn’t say anything about the type of gun used, or anything about it. I think you should remove the photo
