According to a new USA Today/Gallup poll, McCain has a lead over Obama 50% to 46%.

This is a huge shift from a poll taken by the newspaper the week before the Republican National Convention.

The poll before the RNC had McCain trailing Obama by seven percentage points.

Things have quickly changed though,  thanks to the positive press being received by Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, among other things.
