The camp of John McCain has accused Barack Obama of calling McCain’s choice for vice president a pig.

Obama was on the attack during a speech he made on Wednesday, talking about McCain and Palin.

He stated “John McCain say’s he’s about change too.  So I guess his whole angle is: Watch out, George Bush, except for economic policy, healthcare, tax policy, education policy, foreign policy, and Karl Rove-style politics, we’re really going to shake things up in Washington.”

Obama continued by saying “That’s not change.  That’s just calling the same thing something different.  But you can put lipstick on a pig, it’s still a pig.  You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change, and it’s still going to stink after eight years.”

This has sparked an uproar from the MMcCain camp, as they believe that Obama was insulting Palin with the pig comment.

The Obama camp has stated that he never referred to Palin as a pig, which is very true.

They are also stating that the remark is a very common analogy used.
