This has already been a crazy presidential election, with Republican John McCain going up against Democrat Barack Obama.

The lines have clearly been drawn, as the two seemingly are neck and neck going into the final weeks.

Yesterday though things got ugly, as hackers managed to get into the private e-mail account of Gov. Palin, a Yahoo! address, gov.palin@yahoo.com.

The e-mail account has since been shut down, but is raising questions about the responsibility of Palin.

Many have reportedly been pressuring Palin to not use her Yahoo e-mail account for state business for this very reason.

Instead, they have pushed her in the past to use a government e-mail account.

The campaign manager for John McCain, Rich Davis, stated on Wednesday that “This is a shocking invasion of the governor’s privacy and a violation of law.

He explained,  “we hope that anyone in possession of these e-mails will destroy them.”

The FBI is working on investigating the case.
