Medicare provides health insurance to the elderly and disabled in the U.S, and will go another year without increasing the monthly premiums.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services made the big announcement on Friday, as the premium is expected to be $96.40 for Part B.

A reimbursement of $9.3 billion into the Part B fund allowed Medicare premiums to stay constant.

An increase is expected in premiums in 2010 though.
