Just last week, The Commonwealth Fund put out a eport stating that In the next 10 years, the Obama plan would be able to cover 34 of the 67 million uninsured Americans.

This compares to only 2 million of the 67 million uninsured under the McCain plan.

Health care is something which Obama clearly has a major lead on over McCain, with a superior plan overall.

The Obama camp is exploiting this strength in the latest TV ad, stating “On health care, John McCain promises a tax credit.  But here’s what he won’t tell you.  McCain would impose a new tax on health benefits, taxing your health care for the first time ever. It’s a multi-trillion dollar tax hike — the largest middle class tax increase in history.  You won’t find one word about it on his web site, but the McCain tax could cost your family thousands. Can you afford it?”

McCain has clearly tried to defend his position on health care, but it has fallen on deaf ears so far.

There are currently 46 million people in the U.S. who have no health insurance.
