Officials believe that the stomach virus, which carries symptoms which include vomiting, diarrhea, as well as abdominal cramps, originated in the dorms of the university.

Over the weekend, it was known  that 130 USC students had been sickened.

On Monday, that number was increased to nearly 200, as sick students are being urged to stay away from socializing.

This comes as they continue to try to trace back to the source of the virus.
