McCain Health Care Plan Concerns, Would It Cut Medicare?

There are many who are concerned over the health care proposal of Republican presidential candidate John McCain.  The latest fear is that it would bring cuts to Medicare and Medicaid.........Boston (ChattahBox) – There are many who are concerned over the health care proposal of Republican presidential candidate John McCain.  The latest fear is that it would bring cuts to Medicare and Medicaid.

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is has kicked off the launch of a brand new TV ad which is 30-seconds long.

In the ad, which focuses on health care, he states the proposal of McCain would bring “cuts in benefits, eligibility, or both.”

This follows a report which ran in the Wall Street Journal.

The report stated that it would cut Medicare and Medicaid by $1.3 trillion over the next 10 years.

This would lower the availability of health care for the poor and elderly.

The McCain health care proposal would give individuals in the U.S. a $2,500 tax credit and families a $5,000 credit to buy health insurance.
