In the past, many believed that high-tech gadgets such as cell phones, and tools such as the internet would break up families.

It appears though that these tools are actually bringing families closer together than ever before.

The new study was carried out by taking a survey of 2,200 adults, as well as 482 adults who were married or lived with a child.

What they found was that the majority felt that high-tech devices brought them closer together.

Overall, 60% of adults who used cell phones or other devices did not think they broke up families.

Actually, they found that 25% stated that they brought families closer together.

This is due to the fact that the tools made it easier for parents to keep in touch with each other, their kids, etc.

Overall, only 11% believed that the technology broke families up.
