Plans to Deal with Drug-Related Border Violence In Works

January 9, 2009

US (ChattahBox) – A new plan from the Department of Defense has been created to assist in the possible scenario of drug related violence from across the US-Mexico border spreading into the country.

“We completed a contingency plan for border violence, so if we did get a significant spillover, we have a surge — if I may use that word — capability to bring in not only our own assets but even to work with,” Michael Chertoff, the Homeland Security Secretary, said in a phone interview this morning.

The violence in Mexico has been a concern for some time, leading many to wonder what should be done to keep it from spreading into the US, as shootouts, abductions, and other retaliation crimes occur closer and closer to the border.

While this is a first step in creating a method of battling possible problems in the future, the plans have not been made public, and officials at Homeland Security claim only to know of the measures in passing, without any details, or plans to debate them. They have, however, shown support of the general idea, and say they are more then willing to look over the plans, and discuss them.

“We support almost anything to secure our border,” Dena Graziano, a spokeswoman for the House Homeland Security Committee told reporters.

This is too funny. Homeland Security will get slaughtered by these drug lords! The truth behind this story is that they will show up with orders not to shoot. Show your empty guns to the drug smugglers, and hope they go away. And run for your life if they shoot at you. It happened before. The national guard soldiers who came across these smugglers on US soil backed away and retreated. Don’t forget this…

Homeland Security will probably order their ‘troops’ not to shoot under any circumstances. This is for show. It’s publicity. The American public will probably have to fight this on their own, when it becomes obvious American government only gives orders to play the role, instead of acting out the role. This is going to be a turkey shoot for the drug smugglers. I predict this will blow up in Chernoff’s face when the Homeland Security officers are murdered in masses.
