(Video) Dr. Phil reveals hospital wants proof Suleman can care for octuplets

February 25, 2009

(ChattahBox) — There’s another new development in the octuplet mom saga of Nadya Suleman that I like the sound of. Suleman told pretent TV Doctor Phil McGraw on Tuesday that she fears Kaiser Permanente Medical Center may not release her babies to her until she proves she can care for them.

In an interview with The Los Angeles Times, McGraw said Suleman called him Tuesday afternoon, distressed after talking to hospital officials.

“What she is telling me is that unless and until she has a better living arrangement, that they are not likely to release the children to her,” McGraw said.

Suleman apparently turned to Dr. Phil because she has already taped two episodes of his show, the first of which is scheduled to run Wednesday.

McGraw said Suleman told him that hospital officials had some concerns about her “ability to care for the children.” He did not have detailed information about their concerns or what standards she might not be meeting.

Suleman’s living conditions for the 14 young children is questionable at best. It would be a tough situation for a very stable loving couple with the means to support the kids. But the single mom lives in Whittier, CA with her mother who thinks she’s crazy for having more kids, in a three-bedroom home that is in pre-foreclosure. Other then that Suleman does not have a job, and relies on government assistance, including food stamps and disability income for three of her six older children.

Don’t know why Phil is encouraging this nutjob. Phil says that we should assist her but I want to know why. If she can’t look after them and it is clear she is insane they should be taken away and be properly cared for.

this girl appears crazy–watch the Radaronline interview. She should be the furthest thing in the world away from influencing the lives of kids unless she can prove otherwise. Do kids need to be born into a circus? One that will not get better on its own even?

being famous might be their mother’s dream, but to have it thrust upon you from day 1 is probably a curse.

    Poooooooooooooooorrrrr Girl. Maybe I
should’nt be, but I actually feel sorry for this woman. I cringed as I listened to her response to Dr. Phil’s question. This girl is not going to make the mark at all, She has a lack of understanding and no reasonability. I realise she really can’t help being selfish. To be unselfish she would have to take up some serious training on how to balance her brain to include caring about others. And POOR DR. PHIL, he simply had to abort his question to this woman. Is she playing a fool? or is she really deeply lacking. Either way I am sorry for the kids she brought forth if she will be the person raising these children. Also she has not a drop of respect either. I watched her talking down to her mother. What a piece of work. Woman!!! HONOUR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER THAT THY DAYS MAY BE LONG UPON THE LAND WHICH THE LORD THY GOD GIVETH THEE. Read Exodus 20:12; and check Deuteronomy 5:16 Also Proverbs says: THE WISE KNOWETH THE IMPORTANCE OF SILENCE. THERE IS A TIME FOR IT. Her mother has a right to express herself on this matter for she felt the pressure of Nadya and the six children and even pains for the new lot. She has seen it all so she knows it best. Do Nadya even know the bible says rejoice when one dies and cry when one is born. In this world we do the opposite so she just could’nt wait to surprise America with ‘YOUR’ IVF millions and watch the country party till we are drunk and you just laugh at all of us for being fools. I know God has already provided for these children and I hope the authorities do right by them. YOU need serious help Nadya. Please go to God for He can help you.
