White Supremacist Hal Turner, Arrested Again for Inciting Violence Against Judges

June 25, 2009

(ChattahBox)—The despicable and vile, white supremacist and neo-Nazi, Hal Turner has once again been arrested for inciting violence against government officials through blog postings and his Internet radio program. This time, Turner was taken into custody by FBI agents for threatening the lives of three Federal Judges in Chicago from the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Hal Turner, 47-years-old, was arrested at his of North Bergen, N.J home this week, on federal charges of threatening to assault and murder three federal judges, Frank Easterbrook, Richard Posner and William Bauer.

The charges stem from Turner’s published threats against the judges, after he became angry about a recent ruling they made, upholding handgun bans in Chicago.

Turner’s threats were blatant and frightening, not only threatening murder, but he also published the judges’ photographs, work addresses, telephone numbers, room numbers and a photo of the building where they worked.

“Let me be the first to say this plainly: These Judges deserve to be killed,” said Turner in one of his more threatening postings.

Another posting ominously stated, “Apparently, the 7th U.S. Circuit court didn’t get the hint after those killings, it appears another lesson is needed.” Turner was referring the murders of a Chicago judge and family members, solicited by white supremacist, Matt Hale.

Turner was just arrested earlier this month for inciting violence against Connecticut officials, state Rep. Michael Lawlor, state Sen. Andrew McDonald and state ethics commission officer Thomas Jones, threatening to publish their home addresses.

“It is our intent to foment direct action against these individuals personally. These beastly government officials should be made an example of as a warning to others in government: Obey the Constitution or die, wrote Turner in his blog, threatening the officials. Connecticut police described Turner’s statements as, “…above and beyond the threshold of free speech.”

Tuner has built a career based on hate, racism and anti-Semitism. He has past associations with MSNBC right-wing pundit Pat Buchanan and FOX news host Sean Hannity.

Turner and Sean Hannity, go back a long way to the start of Hannity’s right- wing radio show with New York City’s WABC in 1996, when he took over from the race-baiting Bob Grant.

Once Turner called into Hannity’s show and said if not for the kindness of the white man: “black people would still be swinging on trees in Africa.” Hannity continued to encourage Turner to call in after that statement. They frequently spoke on the phone and through e-mails, where Hannity assisted Turner with his homosexual leanings and cocaine use.

Max Blumenthal’s 2005 piece in the Nation, entitled “Hannity’s Soul-Mate of Hate,” offers a detailed look at Sean Hannity’s association with white supremacist Hal Turner.

Turner faces a maximum prison sentence of up to 10 years and a $250,000 fine on the Chicago-based federal charge and one to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000 for the state Connecticut charges.

There are plenty of hate sites, and even liberal web sites such as PETA who incite hostility on others. The FBI and police departments have done nothing to curtail the problem until it is some one in government that is at the bad end of the speech. I don’t condone what Hal-turner did and even find it despicable. Most states now have sex offender sites that call for violence by the accusation only. History already has shown that deaths have resulted from the offender postings.

They are both wrong. Looks like a double standard to me.

Turner, Hannity, Cheney, Bush… They’re all alike. Nazis are scum not matter what they call themselves.

Tell me, what’s the difference between Hal Turner & Sean Hannity and uh, let’s say, Bill Ayers and his nappy headed 1/2 breed buddy from Kenya? A lot! Body odor Obama’s buddies have actually killed people! But ‘012 is not too far off. Kicking him and his wife with the puggish underbite to the curb in the next election sounds just dreamy, wouldn’t you say?
