Rep. Barney Frank Goes On The Defensive When Woman Compares Healthcare To Hitler

August 19, 2009

US (ChattahBox) – A woman who chose to compare health care reform to Nazi policies during a town hall meeting was put to shame by Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass), who pointed out the absurdity of the statement (video below).

Some people will be upset that Rep. Frank chose to answer the woman in the way that he did. But if you had been up there, you might of gotten a little annoyed as well.

Calling Obama ‘Hitler’ because he is trying to create a free and fair health care system is ridiculous. Even if you don’t believe in Universal Health in American, it is ridiculous.

It is also, and the woman doesn’t seem to realize this, extremely offensive to the Jewish population, of which Frank is a part.

His statement about having a conversation with her being like ‘arguing with a dining room table’ seems like an apt one. Her question had no rationality behind it, no facts, just an overly emotional accusation that made little sense, and (as you can hear in the video) put even those against reform on edge.

When will you all begin to realize that people like this, and people like the town hall members being pimped by Fox News this past week, are not helping your cause? When will you see that men like Rick Scott, who are blatant criminals using anti-reform as a means to make a personal profit, are not going to win you a debate?

Health care reform is as good as put through with individuals of ignorance leading your cause. Argue if you like, but do it intelligently, or you are only hurting yourselves.

And this is coming from someone who, by your standards, is a Nazi-loving, Hitler-following Socialist who is looking to ruin the country. Doesn’t that tell you something?

The people showing up at Town Hall meetings, in some cases carrying firearms in an attempt to intimidate those who attend to obtain information, and shouting down the speakers and people who can think, are racists and Nazis themselves. Frankly (no pun intended), I think my dining room table is a lot more intellectual than they are, and it’s certainly less offensive.

Actually, it’s very sad there will *NOT* be any “death panels” to decide how soon these morons leave this mortal coil; humanity would be much better off without them.

Send this man on a cross country mission to do ALL Town Hall meeting on health care. He will end all the nonsense and these meeting will turn productive, as they should be.
