‘Love Rally’ Protesters Take on Pastor of Hate, Steve Anderson

September 8, 2009

(ChattahBox)—Some residents of Tempe, Arizona want the public to know that not everyone in their state straps on guns while praying for President Obama to die. On Sunday, as the Pastor of hate, Steven Anderson prepared to preach his Biblical fundamentalism to his tiny flock of about 25 parishioners, a group of 100 hundred strong staged a protest outside his strip-mall Faithful Word Baptist Church, preaching love not hate with signs asking, “who would Jesus hate?”

The protesters were led by Leonard Clark, who has formed a Facebook group called, People Against Clergy Who Preach Hate, which was created to fight back against Clergy members like Pastor Anderson who us the Bible to preach hate and violence.

Clark noted the dangerous climate of violence that Anderson’s remarks promote. “[Anderson’s] inciting people, whether he admits it or not,” said Clark.

Anderson preached a sermon entitled, “Why I hate Barack Obama,” where he said he wanted President Obam to die and “melt like a snail.” Anderson later stepped up his threats against President Obama saying, he wanted him to “die of brain cancer like Ted Kennedy”

“I’m just disgusted with this man who claims to be a minister of the Lord preaching hate toward the president,” added protester Larry Crane.

Protester William Crumb told ABC News, “It’s hard to believe we could have someone of a religious nature wishing our president was dead.”

Steven Anderson briefly stuck his head out to acknowledge the protesters saying, “I’m not changing anything that I said.” Anderson later got into a verbal altercation with a reporter from the Phoenix New Times, calling him a jerk as the reporter questioned Anderson about the co-mingling of his private business with his Church.

Steven Anderson looks like a penis with ears. Whey do you suppose God hates him so much? He seems to have approximately the same morals and intellect as a penis, as well.

Seriously, however, Anderson does *NOT* preach Biblical fundamentalism. The bible says “love your neighbor as you love yourself,” and do good to those who despitefully use you. Do not return evil for evil, but overcome evil with good.

What Anderson preaches is the worship of Steven Anderson; a combination of fascism and idolatry.
