GOP Rep Nathan Deal Won’t Let ‘Ghetto Grandmothers’ Without Birth Certificates Stop Him

October 5, 2009

(ChattahBox)— Republican Congressman Nathan Deal from Georgia is on a near-fanatical mission to make sure that “illegals” don’t use their trickery to steal health care from the American taxpayer. And he informed a group of local Republicans on Saturday that he would not be deterred from demanding proof of citizenship requirements even if so called, native-born “ghetto grandmothers” were unable to produce birth certificates.

Rep. Deal is known for his rabid xenophobia and campaigns against undocumented immigrants. He supports Joe “You lie” Wilson’s demand that people show proof of U.S. citizenship to qualify for health care coverage.

The problem of course, with such verification requirements, is that they fail to root out very few illegal aliens and place costly bureaucratic burdens on government agencies, while discriminating against minorities, which is why Democrats have opposed such requirements.

A House oversight committee recently found that the citizenship verification program for Medicaid enacted in 2006, cost more than $8 million to administer to catch only eight undocumented immigrants.

Congressman Deal unsuccessfully offered an amendment to the House health care bill to keep the failed and costly Medicaid verification program in place, but he is not giving up.

While speaking before a breakfast meeting of the Cherokee County GOP, Rep. Deal dismissed complaints from elderly citizens without birth certificates:

“We got all the complaints of the ghetto grandmothers who didn’t have birth certificates and all that. We wrote some very liberal language as to how you can verify it. My mother was born in 1906 and she didn’t have a birth certificate. They didn’t give birth certificates back then. But we got her one, because you can do it under the proper procedures of your state.”

Got that? Congressman Deal has got your back covered with his “very liberal language” if you happen to be one of those “ghetto grandmothers” who become ill and need heath care benefits. The ghetto grannies can just wait, until they comply with the “proper procedures” of their respective states to obtain a birth certificate.

In response to criticism about his racially insensitive remarks, Deal issued an apology this morning. “I regret my choice of words and in no way meant to offend anyone,” said Deal in a statement.

Deal’s racially insensitive remarks in his zeal to ensure undocumented immigrants don’t receive health care, came at the same time that the U.S. Justice Department blasted Georgia Secretary of State Karen Handel’s flawed and discriminatory voter citizenship requirement.

The Justice Department found that more than 50 percent of the voters flagged under the system were actually legal citizens. And the majority of voters flagged, as non-citizens were “were overwhelmingly black, Asian or Hispanic,” according to the report.

The State of Georgia is now barred from continuing its pernicious and discriminatory voter citizenship requirements.

However, Rep. Deal, presidential heckler Joe Wilson and others of their ilk, will continue to wage their campaigns against “illegals” and in the process disenfranchise native-born citizens of color and deprive them of basic rights and services.

Here’s something to think about, Senator Deal: Your ancestors STOLE the land where you live now from the rightful owners. Your ancestors MURDERED the landowners. Let’s see YOU prove that you have any right to be considered an American; I want to see genealogical records proving that you have at least 7/8 Native American blood.

Or maybe you can just get the Hell out of my country and go live in North Korea, where people like you run the country.

Deal and Wilson make me sick. I am ashamed that I wasted 23 years of my life in the US Army so that greedy, power-hungry hypocrites like them could control the law-making apparatus in Washington. THEY are the reason we have terrorist attacks in the USA these days.

6 million adopted people are not allowed to have their original birth certificates. When will see Deal complain about that?

By now most business are conscious of the federal program E-Verify? It distinguishes US citizens and legal residents from illegal labor. Although not seamless, it has a 99.6 success rate and obviously will overtime become even more constructive to business that believes in the “Rule of Law.” Opponents in both the business sector and even on Capitol Hill have released a torrent of abuse against the application. That includes its function is blind to counterfeit documentation and spurious ID and that even legal individuals can be rejected? SO–YOU GO TO THE SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICE TO BE EXONERATED? ONLY ILLEGAL WORKERS WILL SHUN TURNING TO SSA FOR RESOLVING THIS ISSUE.

The open border conspirators are losing, as they did in a federal Maryland court a week previous. As E-Verify are perfected it needs to become a permanent tool in the incomplete arsenal of immigration enforcement. It needs to reach out to every company, big and small, in our country and every individual who works there? E-Verify eventually will expel foreign national from the workplace, without financial appropriations on a large scale. These people will self-deport when they cannot be hired anymore. Businesses facing huge fines and prison will be the ultimate deterrent. In time it will save our ailing schools, health care, home mortgages and government welfare system. Look to NUMBERSUSA for honest an answer, that includes costs to taxpayers for the new blanket AMNESTY. Which Senators and Republicans are anti-US American Worker and their immigration grades?

For an example Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) has a miserable enforcement grade of “C-“. He was out to erase E-Verify, under fund the border fence from the beginning of the Democratic administration. Then JUDICIAL WATCH is a public watchdog group Promoting Integrity, Transparency and Accountability in Government, Politics and the Law. They uncover misconduct by government officials and litigation to hold to account politicians and public officials who engage in corrupt activities. Finally CAPSWEB informs the public about the coming nightmare of OVERPOPULATION that is already exhibiting itself in our deteriorating infrastructure. TELL YOUR POLITICIANS YOU HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE AT 202-224-3121

Incidentally regarding the 2010 Census? Small states will miss out big time on federal dollars, while mass illegal immigrant states will gain more seats in Congress and too much power and influence? Of course ICE could check the immigration status of those who are counted, even though it’s supposedly against US law? Or is counting 20 million plus (?) non-legal residence against the US Constitution?

Do white men from the south always use those words in polite conversations? When it comes to race relations, he is a uniter not a divider, right? But maybe he thinks he only represents the white populous and the rest be damned.

    The meal Deal should join forces with Orly taitz, he is a closeted Birther. Oh wait what this;

Judge Land and now judge Carter, smack down the crazies (case dismissed), poor little Birthers.

Not even “Fake News” Bill O’Reilly believes the crazies, how funny.

To all the birthers in La, La Land, it is on you to prove to all of us that your assertion is true (TOUGH WHEN YOU KEEP LOSING CASES), if there are people who were there and support your position then show us the video (everyone has a price), either put up or frankly shut-up.

In my opinion the Republican Party has been taken over the most extreme religious right (people who love to push their beliefs on others while trying to take away the rights of those they just hate) and that is who they need to extract from their party if they real want to win. Good Luck, because as they said in WACO, “We Ain’t Coming Out”.

I heard that she now wants to investigate the “Republican 2009 Summer of Love” list: Assemblyman, Michael D. Duvall (CA), Senator John Ensign (NV), Senator Paul Stanley (TN), Governor Mark Stanford (SC), Board of Ed Chair, and Kristin Maguire AKA Bridget Keeney (SC).

I wonder if she is a mail order bride, just like her law degree? She is perfect reporter material for “Fake News”, where unfounded rumors and innuendo reign supreme , unlike a our US courts of law, where you need to present documented facts, not half baked lies (prepare for more failures).

A lawyer, dentist, realtor and black belt, WOW I must say a JACK of all trades master of none.
