Pat Robertson’s Site: Halloween ‘Candy Prayed Over by Witches’

October 30, 2009

(ChattahBox)—Oh my! According to Evangelicals, miniature snickers and milky ways are cursed by witches and demons. Pat Robertson’s Christian Broadcasting Network website posted quite the bizarre little Evangelical manifesto against the satanic dangers of Halloween. CBN contributor Kimberly Daniels, a self described “recognized prophetic voice,” wrote an unhinged rant against Halloween claiming, “most of the candy sold during this season has been dedicated and prayed over by witches.”

Daniels also warned of sex with demons and revel nights. And that witches on brooms, mummies, werewolves and Dracula “actually exist.”

Soon after the wacky piece entitled, “The Danger of Celebrating Halloween,” appeared on the CBN website it mysteriously disappeared, no doubt from mass mockery, but it remains cached and it has been re-posted on another site, thank goodness.

Read the insanity below for your Halloween Eve enjoyment:

“During Halloween, time-released curses are always loosed. A time-released curse is a period that has been set aside to release demonic activity and to ensnare souls in great measure … During this period demons are assigned against those who participate in the rituals and festivities. These demons are automatically drawn to the fetishes that open doors for them to come into the lives of human beings. For example, most of the candy sold during this season has been dedicated and prayed over by witches.

I do not buy candy during the Halloween season. Curses are sent through the tricks and treats of the innocent whether they get it by going door to door or by purchasing it from the local grocery store. The demons cannot tell the difference.

Even the colors of Halloween (orange, brown and dark red) are dedicated. These colors are connected to the fall equinox, which is around the 20th or 21st of September each year and is sometimes called “Mabon.” During this season witches are celebrating the changing of the seasons from summer to fall. They give praise to the gods for the demonic harvest. They pray to the gods of the elements (air, fire, water and earth).

Mother earth is highly celebrated during the fall demonic harvest. Witches praise mother earth by bringing her fruits, nuts and herbs. Demons are loosed during these acts of worship. When nice church folk lay out their pumpkins on the church lawn, fill their baskets with nuts and herbs, and fire up their bonfires, the demons get busy. They have no respect for the church grounds. They respect only the sacrifice and do not care if it comes from believers or non-believers.

Halloween is much more than a holiday filled with fun and tricks or treats. It is a time for the gathering of evil that masquerades behind the fictitious characters of Dracula, werewolves, mummies and witches on brooms. The truth is that these demons that have been presented as scary cartoons actually exist. I have prayed for witches who are addicted to drinking blood and howling at the moon.

While the lukewarm and ignorant think of these customs as “just harmless fun,” the vortexes of hell are releasing new assignments against souls. Witches take pride in laughing at the ignorance of natural men (those who ignore the spirit realm).

Decorating buildings with Halloween scenes, dressing up for parties, going door-to-door for candy, standing around bonfires and highlighting pumpkin patches are all acts rooted in entertaining familiar spirits. All these activities are demonic and have occult roots.

The word “occult” means “secret.” The danger of Halloween is not in the scary things we see but in the secret, wicked, cruel activities that go on behind the scenes. These activities include:

* Sex with demons
* Orgies between animals and humans
* Animal and human sacrifices
* Sacrificing babies to shed innocent blood
* Rape and molestation of adults, children and babies
* Revel nights
* Conjuring of demons and casting of spells
* Release of “time-released” curses against the innocent and the ignorant.”

    Think about it. Religion has actually convinced people that there’s an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever ’til the end of time! But He loves you. He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money! He’s all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow just can’t handle money! Religion takes in billions of dollars, they pay no taxes, and they always need a little more. Now, you talk about a good bull**** story. Holy S***!” George Carlin.

    My dear Mr. Robertson, get out of the wine cabinet.

    “You don’t buy candy cuz of the ‘curses’ released.. ”

    Mr. Roberston, you DO have some Issues -clearly your own mind has clouded your own judgements.. aw but that is it. You’re afraid of the unknown.. and what you don’t know you ‘dam and curse’

    Perhaps you should take a look within your own faith, there are mysteries in your religion.. why not in others? I bet you haven’t looked in your own backyard before lashing out.

    Pat Robertson is a &$@$@…. censored. His entire interest in “Christianity” is to gain riches from his stupid, gullible followers so he can continue to conduct his Satanic rituals in private.

    That ought to make for some interesting Google results.

    There is no difference between organized crime and organized religion. Both use fear to control people. Organized crime use a gun and organized religion use God. Both want to steal as much tax free money as they can from people. People should not worry about going to hell. it will be too full of preachers and priests. They are the true evil ones on earth, they choose this for personal gain. People should only live by the Golden rule not listen to con man. People do not need a middle man to communicate with God of their departed love ones.

    i am a wicca and i do not hate robertson or any of his followers. I do feel sorry for him. I would love to meet him and have a heart to heart talk. He should sit down with one of us before he decides that we are evil. I’ve seen people assault other people in the name of god. Wars have been waged in the name of the christian god. there is evil in every religion but not ever person that follows that religion is evil robertson really needs to think about that.

    Just remember one thing about Fundies like Mr. Robertson, “Send your money to the lord… Here’s my address” (in short why don’t god have his own PO box if he wants man’s money.. ). If one wants to use religion to make a huge fortune like that, why bash other religions… that is how many more people with money? 😛

    There are people that are evil (read stupid) to be found in all races, religions, rungs on the social ladder, … but it’s the ones like Mr. Robertson that get the attention because they rant the loudest… Fortunately we have invented a cure for those ones… it’s called the channel button or the mute button.

    As for as the candy rant… Please pass me Mr. Robertson’s portion of the “Cursed Chocolate”

    How do witches have time to pray over the candy and bedevil children when they are so busy having sex with demons??? He also lists a host of other terrible things witches do on a regular basis. I’ll take the witches over Robertson because he’s just a nutcase and the wiccans worship the elements.,Not money, power or bigotry. This is why I don’t participate in organized religion. What Bible teaches hatred ?? What a moron- he advocates politicians being murdered , gays as devils trying to ruin marriage. The minute he starts talking politics he needs to pay taxes on the funds he receives for his work of pushing hatred. Apparently his Bible says to only love those who are like you and tolerance is not in his Bible.

    Stupid Fundies….

    i’m wiccan and think that robertson needs to get a grip on reality he’s a scared little man. He is scared of things he does not understand. He should educate himself before he speaks.

  13. Zippitydoda on November 2nd, 2009 7:42 pm

    (Sigh) Completely ignorant. I was raised Christian, and I can tell you that Christians have a very long history of violence toward others whereas Wiccans do not, which is why I think making judgment calls on other religions is totally out of line, particularly when the facts are as far out as this. I agree with Missy. He’s scared of things he does not understand. I think he’s confusing the wiccan “list of activities” with one of his own company parties.

    […] Evidently, last week, Pat Robertson’s CBN website posted some bullshit. This isn’t exactly news because the tinfoil hat-wearing asstards over there are always posting some bullshit. However, this was bullshit that made most of the rest of the Religious Reich look at them and go, “Homosaywhat?” Evidently, according to one Kimberly Daniels, the entire Halloween candy supply has been “dedicated and prayed over by witches.” […]

  16. Lunasung on November 4th, 2009 1:49 pm

    WOW Can I please get my hands on the drugs that Ole Pat is taking!!! Thou shalt not Judge!!! Or make false accusations against others Mr Robertson!! I am a witch have been all my life and I have never drank blood or performed magic to harm children let alone anyone else! I find it funny that I myself have researched YOUR religion yet you obviously have never researched the pagan path. Unlike yourself WE would never bring ill will against you, its against our Rede; WE practice what we preach perhaps you should do the same. Why do you feel the need to preach hatred against something you have no clue about? Did this statement of yours “PLEASE” your God? Perhaps you should rethink your intentions and be worried about feeling the “heat” from constantly breaking your Bibles commandments.
