O’Reilly to Dobbs: ‘Barack Obama, Is he the Devil?’

November 17, 2009

(ChattahBox)—Former Xenophobic anti-immigration CNN host Lou Dobbs, is making the media rounds this week, with an appearance on NBC’s the Today Show this morning, a visit to Fox News’ the O’Reilly Factor last night and a much anticipated appearance on Comedy Central’s the Jon Stewart Show, scheduled for Wednesday. Dobbs has made clear in his various interviews that he plans to continue with his controversial bigotry against undocumented immigrants, his anti-Obama campaign and promotion of fringe conspiracy theories.

During his O’Reilly appearance, Dobbs was asked by O’Reilly if President Obama was the devil, and without missing a beat Dobbs proceeded to attack Obama on health care reform and Afghanistan.

During his appearances on the Today Show and the O’Reilly Factor Dobbs suggested that CNN didn’t question his opinions while criticizing President Bush, but suddenly found fault with Dobbs’ hate mongering and bigotry after Barack Obama was elected President.

After responding to O’Reilly’s absurd question referring to President Obama as the devil, Dobbs later agrees that the characterization that Obama is “mismanaging the country” is a “pretty good choice.”

O’REILLY: Barack Obama. Is he the Devil?

DOBBS: He’s not the devil but he is certainly a man not making it easy to understand why he is making the public policy choices he is. […]

What is taking so long to come to a decision on Afghanistan? Why is it so necessary to turn over one sixth of the economy to the United States government, which is not showering itself with glory on any other subjects?

O’REILLY: So, you don’t think he is the Devil? But you think he is mismanaging the country at this point?

DOBBS: I think absolutely.

O’REILLY: I’m sorry to put words in your mouth.

Dobbs: No–those were a pretty good choice.
