Scott Brown Smirks At Coakley Slur: ‘Shove a Curling Iron Up Her Butt’

January 18, 2010

(ChattahBox)—-The Massachusetts senate race between Democratic candidate Martha Coakley and Republican challenger Scott Brown is starting to get nasty. With the national anti-government sentiment of the electorate taking hold in the blue state of Massachusetts, out of state teapartiers have descended in droves to help kill President Obama’s ambitious agenda. And on Sunday at a Scott Brown rally, a supporter shouted out: “Shove a curling iron up her butt,” and Brown appeared to smirk and laugh at the comment.

The angry and violent tenor of Brown’s supporters hearken back to the uneducated yahoos that appeared at Sarah Palin rallies during the 2008 presidential campaign.

Speaking through a megaphone, Brown was lamenting Coakley’s “malicious” campaigning. In reality, Coakley has simply uncovered Brown’s unseemly voting record and media appearances. As Brown whined about malicious tactics, his supporters started shouting:

“She’s malicious,” shouted one supporter. “She’s a phony!” shouted another attendee.

Then a particularly misogynist and sexually violent cretin in the crowd shouted: “Shove a curling iron up her butt!”

Brown said nothing to discourage the threat of violence against his female opponent. And instead, he smirked and laughed at the comments.

Watch it:

Are you kidding? This entire scenario is a delusion. Scott Brown is a decent guy and this whole non-story is trying to make him look sleazy. Just FYI: He is not sleazy. The accusations are.

Please give this comment some context. This was said in reference Matha’s flat out refusal to prosecute a man who raped his 2 year old niece with a curling iron. She only indicted him after the toddlers mother pressure on the system. Martha didn’t want to ruin her political contacts with the accused’s family.

Just interested in knowing if the author of this piece has actually spent any time looking into Martha Coakley whatsoever. I think the fact that she didn’t prosecute a man who raped a 23-month-old with a… you guessed it… CURLING IRON is of particular interest in reporting this story. But you’d rather not go there, I suppose.

The curling iron comment was inappropriate and childish. A new tone is about to be set here, America. Let’s change towards being better people and vote for what is good. Tell Obama that we DO want to go backwards,,,if having become wise,, that is the thing to do…It’s not “wisdom”,,,it’s “application”. VOTE FOR BROWN!!

“Shove a curling iron up her butt,” and Brown appeared to smirk and laugh at the comment.

Appeared to smirk? Is that worth writing? Doesn’t seem very factual or news worthy. I hope we wins.

I played the clip over and over, and I couldn’t hear it. While looking for a story on this incident, I came across this:

Scott didn’t hear it either. He was responding to something else.

OMG. Brown was talking at the same time the heckler said it. Brown likely didn’t even hear what the guy said, unless he is a genius at hearing someone in a crowd while he’s talking. What a LAME attempt at reporting facts!

Isn’t this what Sen Kerry would call terrorism? Next thing you know, one of Brown’s supporters, maybe even staff, will shove a reporter to the ground as Scott looks on.

Hey Chattahbox. Get real. There’s weirdos on every side. Quit being so shamelessly ignorant and maybe you’ll one day become a respectable news source. Until then, I have a few curling irons of my own, right here for you, and I know exactly where they should be placed.
