Number One Reason to Pass Healthcare Reform: Limbaugh Promises to Flee Country

March 9, 2010

(ChattahBox)—If you needed another reason to support the passage of healthcare reform, to fix our broken health insurance system there is this: Hate talk radio host Rush Limbaugh promised to leave the country, if a healthcare reform bill became enacted into law. Limbaugh, a frequent critic of healthcare reform and President Obama, announced that he would flee to the Central American Country of Costa Rica. Ironically, Costa Rica’s healthcare system provides socialized healthcare for all of its residents and is ranked higher than the United States.

During yesterday’s radio program, hate talker Limbaugh launched into his usual attack on reform, falsely claiming that the country would experience “massive increases” in health insurance premiums if healthcare reform passed, as well as reduced services, less equipment, and poorer-quality health care. The bigoted porcine bloviator then attacked President Obama as a “nobody” who “hasn’t fixed anything.”

When a caller asked Limbaugh: Where would you go for healthcare —– If private doctors have to go into the federal program? Limbaugh responded that he would flee the country:

LIMBAUGH: “I’ll just tell you this,” Limbaugh said. “If this passes and it’s five years from now and all that stuff gets implemented —– I am leaving the country. I’ll go to Costa Rica.

Late year, Costa Rica was voted as the most happiest country in the world, according to the Happy Planet Index. Hopefully, when Limbaugh flees the Socialist, Fascist, Marxist United States, his hate and bigotry won’t lower the happy rating of the beautiful tropical paradise.

An America without Rush Limbaugh….Can you even imagine?

Who wants to make a little wager that those moronic Democrats to mess this up? They have this positive genius for taking a plate of finely prepared caviar and turning it into Donkey dung.

The Republicans are sounding the alarm: If the Dems pass health care reform, they will be slaughtered at the polls in November! It’s a political ploy – passing major health care legislation is a no-braner and a sure winner – and yet a lot members of “the party of Franklin Delano Roosevelt” are falling for it hook, line and stinker.

It’s funny. Every time I forget why I left that worthless, joke-of-a-party twelve years ago, they always cheerfully remind me – and I appreciate that. I really do!

Teddy Kennedy is dead and he’s not coming back.

I love it how you libtards use the word “hate” synomous with Rush.
When he only stands up for what is right and moral.
A HC bill made by conservitaves would be the best fix.
Noone knows all the ramifications of Obumer’s HC bill.
Only liberal morons would vote for such a bill.
You libs are trying to turn this great country into a
european s**t hole.Do any of you people even study
about whats happening in the UK,Denmark,Greece etc.

Hurrah. Our country will be better off in two ways. Better health insurance options to match that of Costa Rica plus no more Rush right wing nut “leader” ship. Perhaps he can talk the Costa Ricans into getting worse health care like we have in the US! Nah, they are too intelligent to listen to his theatrics.

My husband and I can afford health insurance but unable to get it due to preexisting conditions unless we create a company to obtain a group health insurance policy. We would do better things with our time and energy if not for this crazy health care maze.
