Commentary: Palin Says She Is Sticking To Her Guns

March 29, 2010

US (ChattahBox) – Sarah Palin, who has criticized ‘Family Guy’, refused Liberals access to her during book appearances, and accused anyone who didn’t support her as the GOP’s VP pick as being “sexist” has stood against her critics who have taken verbal shots for her violent imagery that seems to encourage lethal action again supporters of health care reform.

Palin struck out at the media earlier this week for publicizing statements she made to Tea Party members that used gun metaphors, as well as setting a map on her Twitter page that showed targets where Dem leaders who voted for health reform lived and instructed them to ‘reload’.

But what is her latest piece of rhetoric she is using to justify her statements and gain a little more public focus? “Censorship”.

The former Alaskan governor and VP hopeful is well known for her attempts to shut out or discredit the slightest bit of criticism from any side. But this is apparently irrelevant in the face of “New Politically Correct Language Police Censorship”.

She posted a mocking message on her Facebook page, where her fans gather to suck up the latest silly pandering she chooses to bestow upon them.

In it, she chose to address the college basketball season using the same words and metaphors as her political rants, in an attempt to make herself look more “Maverick”, apparently.

“To the teams that desire making it this far next year: Gear up! In the battle, set your sights on next season’s targets! From the shot across the bow — the first second’s tip-off — your leaders will be in the enemy’s crosshairs, so you must execute strong defensive tactics. Get in their faces and argue with them. (Sound familiar?!) Every possession is a battle; you’ll only win the war if you’ve picked your battles wisely. No matter how tough it gets, never retreat, instead RELOAD!”

Seriously, how long until she falls into the abyss of obscurity that she deserves? It would be one thing if the woman was known for anything other than being a corrupt politician and the laughable VP choice that lost McCain the election. Once the Tea Party is thrust to the sidelines in a few years and eventually fade from memory, I can only hope that this babbling bimbo does the same.

Oh, and Palin, as a woman I can say I am not being sexist. I have nothing against others of my gender. I just find baseless attention whoring and reliance on buzz words to be a poor way to make a name for myself.

Look it seems that the Tea Party is the Al qaeda of political parties, a bunch of loosely affiliated individuals dedicated to bringing down this administration. Furthermore, judging from the price of a ticket one must admit that it is no real grassroots movement, but rather a hijacked movement. I saw this article that demonstrates why this movement will fail to accomplish its goals, I think if you are a tea partier you should read:

I agree with Daffy. Thos people are making themselves look like total fools. They will not impress anyone with their examples of bigotry and screams of “no”. The voter will make up his or her mind according to the irresponsible actions of politicians who are suppose to behave in a civil manner which many involved with the GOP are not doing.
