More Dale Peterson Campaign Ad Hilarity (Video)

June 17, 2010

(ChattahBox)—The state of Alabama has provided the best political entertainment this primary campaign season. You may recall, Dale Peterson’s hilarious ad in his bid to become the Republican candidate for Alabama Agricultural Commissioner. Wearing a tall cowboy hat, astride a horse and carrying a rifle, Peterson declared that the Agricultural Commissioner is the “most powerful position in Alabama,” as he went on a rant against “illegals” who “bust in by the thousands.” Peterson came in third, but now he is back on the state’s airwaves in a new ad endorsing the winner John Mcmillan, firing off his Westchester rifle at campaign yard sign thieves.

In the ad, Peterson says his rival — “that dummy with all his illegal campaign contributions”– can head on “back to his chicken farm.”

When he spots a man attempting to steal one of Mcmillan’s campaign signs, Peterson shouts, “Hey you, hey get away from that!” And then he opens fire.

“I better not catch any thugs or criminals stealing his yard signs,” declares Peterson.

The video isn’t available here. Actually, I’d vote for Elmer Fudd if he were in favor of enforcing immigration laws. He would be a much, much better President than Obama with that stance.
