And Then There Were Twelve: Another Russian Spy Suspect Arrested

July 13, 2010

US (ChattahBox) – Officials say they have arrested another man who is suspected of being a Russian spy, linked to a ring of eleven people, ten already captured. He is currently being extradited back to the United States.

The unnamed 23-year-old man obtained a U.S. visa in August ’09, and fell under suspicion in October of that year. His visa was revoked a few days before police moved in on the suspected spies, and he fled the country.

He joins the 10 others who have plead guilty to acting as illegal agents for Russia, the Telegraph reports. However, he is believed to be facing different charges.
