Fox News’ O’Reilly: After ‘Four Hours of Commentary’ Anyone Could Mistakenly Call Obama a Racist (Video)

August 31, 2010

(ChattahBox)—According to Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly, after talking on TV and radio for four-hours a day, it’s perfectly normal to call our first black president a “racist” with a “deep-seated hatred of white people.” Everyone makes mistakes, right? Except, deranged broadcaster Glenn Beck, called President Obama a “racist” on Fox & Friends, Fox News’ early-morning show last year, well before his “four hours of commentary” started. And his attack of Obama on national TV, as a “racist,” was a culmination of a long week of race-baiting. Beck has said he “stands by” his comments and he has continued with his endless race-baiting and demonizing of President Obama.

Suddenly this past week, after he attempted to “reclaim” the civil rights movement from Martin Luther King, he may have realized the absurdity of calling our first black president a racist, and then standing on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial to try and co-opt and pervert King’s “I Have a Dream” speech. So, Beck tried to walk back his racist attack against Obama, by not apologizing, as O’Reilly claims, but by “amending” his comments to say he really meant to attack Obama’s “liberation theology.” The self-described rodeo clown, carnival huckster and wannabe televangelist, knows exactly what he is doing.

During this evening’s O’Reilly Factor, Fox news contributor Juan Williams, said Beck’s attack on President Obama as a racist was “the craziest thing I ever heard.”

O’Reilly defended Beck, saying he apologized and geez, the man is telling tea party members to turn to God, so he’s a great guy, right?

“We all make mistakes, especially when you’re doing four hours of commentary a day,” added O’Reilly.
