Gingrich: Obama ‘Kenyan Anti-Colonial’ Con Man

September 13, 2010

(ChattahBox Political News)—Disgraced former Republican speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich has either lost his mind, or he believes peddling the worst kind of race-baiting and bigoted demagoguery will propel the twice divorced, thrice married family values politician into the White House. Fat chance of that. So, as Joe Scarborough asked this morning, “What’s he doing?” Fresh off his hate Muslims tour, in which he compared an Islamic community center to Nazis, Gingrich is now returning to attacking President Obama with race baiting and dog whistles. Speaking to the National Review, Gingrich claims he developed an epiphany, when reading former Ronald Reagan aide Dinesh D’Souza’s offensive and inflammatory Forbes article, wherein he declared that Obama was carrying out the policies of his socialist anti-colonialism Kenyan father, he described, as a Luo tribesman. Said Newt, Obama has been conning America into believing he was “normal,” when in reality he practices “Kenyan, anti-colonial behavior.”

There’s nothing like a little inflammatory race-baiting to attack our first black president with, right Newt? Gingrich said he made a “stunning insight” into President Obama’s policies after reading D’Souza’s twisted reasoning. The author is the same D’Souza who blamed the terrorist attacks of September 11 on the liberal policies of progressives.

Gingrich was particularly taken with the “Kenyan, anti-colonial” aspect of the article, which he wove into a Manchurian candidate-like conspiracy birther theory.

“What if [Obama] is so outside our comprehension, that only if you understand Kenyan, anti-colonial behavior, can you begin to piece together [his actions]?” Gingrich asks. “That is the most accurate, predictive model for his behavior.”

“This is a person who is fundamentally out of touch with how the world works, who happened to have played a wonderful con, as a result of which he is now president,” Gingrich tells us.

“I think he worked very hard at being a person who is normal, reasonable, moderate, bipartisan, transparent, accommodating — none of which was true,” Gingrich continues. “In the Alinksy tradition, he was being the person he needed to be in order to achieve the position he needed to achieve . . . He was authentically dishonest.”

Gingrich was just getting started. On Sunday, he appeared on Fox News Sunday witt Chris Wallace, wherein he engaged in more race-baiting. The disgraced former speaker, declared that Obama put American on food stamps and described Obama, as a “16-year old with a credit card who doesn’t think the bills come due.”

There are just no words. What’s he doing?

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs denounced Gingrich’s offensive remarks, saying he was playing into the birther conspiracy. Gibbs appeared on Good Morning America with George Stephanopoulos, saying Gingrich was “trying to appeal to the fringe of people who don’t think the president was born in this country.”
