Tenn. GOPer Warns of Illegals Breeding ‘Like Rats’ (Video)

November 11, 2010

(ChattahBox Political News)—This is truly disgusting.  There is no limit to the utter disdain and contempt Republicans have for the poor and powerless in our society. Channeling Andre Bauer, Lt. Gov. of South Carolina, who once compared poor people on welfare to stray animals that breed when fed, a state Tennessee lawmaker compared pregnant undocumented women to a rat infestation. Republican Rep. Curry Todd, wants to deny pregnant undocumented women prenatal care, because according to his warped bigoted views, they are carrying rat-like “anchor babies.”

These women and their unborn children are less than human to hateful bigots, such as Todd. Although these children enter the world as U.S. citizens, there is a growing movement to deny birthright citizenship to so-called “anchor babies.”

Todd made his remarks during a committee meeting, while questioning officials from Tennessee’s CoverKids program.

“Todd specifically wanted to know if program administrators demanded “proof that you are here legally before you can get assistance.”’

“Asked if he meant children, Todd replied, “not the children, I am talking about the adults.”’

“A CoverKids program administrator responded that CoverKids doesn’t provide medical coverage to pregnant women, but it does offer “unborn coverage.”’ […]

“Todd was also told, “Under the guidance that was provided to states, under the previous administration, there is a technical guidance letter that states that for covering the unborn child, we are not permitted to determine citizenship, because the child, once born, is a U.S. citizen.”’

Rep. Todd responded: “Well, they can go out there like rats and multiply, then, I guess.

Todd’s offensive remarks were not objected to by a single lawmaker attending the committee hearing.

Todd later said he should have used the derogatory term “anchor babies,” instead of rats.

What a creep.

This is the kind of people that we are dealing with within the Republican Party. They are an elitest group of people who think that they are a little bit better then the average Human. They are the kind of people that Fox News supports. So My conclusion would be that they are like the Pharices of Biblical times. Always using God as their crutch, but in reality, they are the Hypocrits that Jesus talked about. They (Fox News) are the ones that shouted “Crusify Him” the loudest and all the other sheep in the croud went along because of their ignorance.
