Forensic Examination Indicates Found Jawbone Isn’t Natalee Holloway’s

November 23, 2010

(ChattahBox US News) – Another major disappointment in bringing closure to the Natalee Holloway investigation. Analysis of dental records has concluded that the jawbone found on a beach in Aruba was not Natalee Holloway’s.  The jawbone had a wisdom tooth on it, and Natalee had had all of her wisdom teeth removed. It is unclear whom the jawbone does belongs to.Natalee disappeared during a senior class trip in 2005, and was last seen with Joran van der Sloot, who was arrested twice in connection with her disappearance, but never charged.  The bone was apparently found near the Phoenix Hotel, which is an area where Joran Van der Sloot had previously referenced.  Van der Sloot is currently in a Peruvian jail awaiting trial on separate murder charges.
