The Rapture is Coming For Real This Time, on May 21, 2011

December 4, 2010

(ChattahBox US News)—For all you sinners out there, the end is nearer than you think, May 21, 2011, to be exact. But don’t give up your earthly possessions and settle old scores just yet. Harold Camping, radio host and president of Family Radio ministries is certain he has the date of the Rapture right this time. He last prophesied that Christ’s Second Coming would occur sometime in September of 1994. And he was so sure, he even wrote a book about it. Well that date has come and gone, but this time Camping thinks he nailed it. And he’s so convinced that the Rapture is coming next year, he put up giant billboards across the country, warning us that the End Times are very near.

There have been dozens of Rapture dates and End Times prophecies, over the years. And so far, the Angel Gabriel has not blasted his trumpet to summon the dead from their graves to rise up to heaven with the chosen ones. But evangelical and fundamentalist Christians make a sport of either preparing for and predicting the End Times and looking for ominous signs that it’s near.

Camping for example, believes that “gay pride and same sex marriage” is a definite sign from God that the Rapture is near.

The Internet is filled with Rapture websites that scour the news for signs from God. There are the usual, wars, famine, pestilence and the like. And earthquakes are a biggie, as well as the restoring the Temple of Israel.

Other signs may not be as obvious, such as advanced microchips indicating the Mark of the Beast and a One World Government, as in the United Nations, vegetarianism, Civil Rights and liberals.

Besides the signs, Camping worked out a mathematical Biblical “doubling principle” to determine that “Judgment Day is exactly 7,000 years after the flood of Noah’s day,” leading him to arrive at the date of May 21, 2011.

The billboards, with 40 in Tennessee alone, keep the message simple with the words, “He is Coming Again, May 21, 2011.”

The billboards were paid for with donations from supporters, but Family Radio officials are not revealing their identity.

If Armageddon doesn’t occur next spring, no doubt Camping will come up with another End Times date during his next fundraising drive.

    Dear Mr Camping,
” NO one knows of the hour or day only GOD The Father does, not even the Angels or The Son”……. It’s in the bible

The Bible does NOT say man will not know the day or hour of Christ’s return. It says men will not know if they are not watching. In this respect, judgment day is compared to a thief who comes in the night. You will know the thief is coming if you’re watching vice sleeping. Problem is, most people stopped watching (i.e., reading the Bible).

Matthew 24:42* Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.43* But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what WATCH the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

Well, though I believe in the Rapture, I don’t believe we can pinpoint an exact date and time because Matthew 24 tell us only the Father knows. However, I don’t see anything wrong with trying to guess when it will happen (approximately).
Also, there’s nothing wrong with fundraising – no matter how crazy the idea may be to some. As long as the fundraiser is honest about why he/she is raising money; people can donate their money however they choose.

Most people don’t realize that the Bible is full of information that is focused on the time of Christ’s return. In Matthew 24:15, Jesus told us to read the book of Daniel to understand the most important part of end time activity, that is, the abomination of desolation. When we go to Daniel 8:13-14 and Daniel 12:4-12 we read that information about the abomination of desolation concerns 2300 days and the 1290 days. Daniel says this information was “sealed until the time of the end”. Moreover, in Revelation 9 God informs us that the part of His judgment will last 5 months.

So, why do people continue to insist we can’t know the time when God the Father says He will unseal the information at “time of the end?”

Da 12:9* And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

I predict that on May 22, 2011, Harold Camping will have figured out a way to bilk even more money out of the suckers who think the end of the world is coming at the hand of some mythological power. Since those same people are too stupid to even pay attention to the advice in Deut. 13:1-5 and put to death the false prophet, he’s got a sure thing and they’ll fall for the same old lie again and again and again. That’s how Camping and his ilk stay wealthy.

Say, that’s the date of the next USMA graduation. Could we please reschedule? How about 21 May 3011?

Thee is a repeat in revelations about jesus coming likea theif in the night andit is revelation ch 16 verse15. after the mark of the beast it is sad that most christians think it will happen before that. by the way aron russo can give a hint about what the mark is.

It’s horrible that Harold Camping is doing this again, and yet, suckers continue to send him money and do stuff like this. Harold Camping by the way, owns a house valued at over $3,000,000 near Oakland, California.

Also, have you noticed when these “prophets” set a date, it’s always within THEIR LIFETIME? You never see a preacher saying the date is 2645 or 3178 do you?

  9. Peter Parker on December 30th, 2010 6:52 pm

False prophets are horrendous. He was wrong the first time, and he will be wrong again. He will just set another date and fleece people out of their time and money. Their time being the more valuable asset. Time that people could go to a real pastor teacher and learn to love the Lord Jesus Christ and through loving the Lord they can learn to love people.

We might not be far off from the tribulation and great tribulation, however, you are occupy until His return. Don’t forget, if you are still alive, then God has a mission for you. Don’t contemplate infinity when you could be doing the Father’s will for your life by being beacons of light and salt to the earth.

    Daniel 12:
8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Churches never mention these verses that state the believers will know more than the unbeliervers like when christ will return, ask your minister what these verses mean! I am sure that he will not have an answer.

    1 Thessalonians
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

Let there be NO mistake: There will be NO rapture on May 21, 2011 and no end of the world in October 2011…or December 2012. Pastor Camping and his followers are completely and utterly deceived and their erroneous projection is a product of the MYTH of Modern Dispensationalism, which was started by John Nelson Darby in the mid 1800’s. (Google this!) There is NO such thing as the rapture of the church in modern times. ALL of the references used by proponents of this event apply to the pre-70AD church. Christ ALREADY returned in 70 AD…just like He said He would in Matthew 24. READ YOUR BIBLES, people! We are empowered to do ALL things by the Holy Spirit. Right??? Why does He need to come yet again? Was His (completed) work on the cross 2000 years ago not enough? Are YOU going to be the one to tell Him that???

No Man Knows – Found this on a website:

But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Mark 13:32

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Matthew 24:36

Is that the final Word on His Word? I don’t think so. Whenever I get quoted these versus (which is daily), I ask, is it ok then to know the week? Would you settle for the month? If you are smiling just a little you see that we must read these versus, and all versus, in the context in which the Master was saying them.
Here, when Jesus says, no man knows, He was refering to the time. Those with Him, at that time, did not know the time of His return and He tells
them so. He did not want to discuss it with them because it was not their business at the time. Their business was to start the Church age and get the
    gospel out.
Does God want us to know the timeline of man? Could it be that He would put it in the Bible? I believe so. Bishop Ussher took a guess at it and declared that 4004 BC was the start date of creation. Of course, once we start thinking about some of the problems associated with this date, as in the flood completely wiping out Egyptian civilization and yet no record of it, it just can’t be. Sadly, this turned mathematicians and scientific folks off even more so. But If God did put it in the Bible, then He hid it, as with so many other things He has hid from man and even hardened the hearts of men so when they do hear, don’t believe it!

And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words [are] closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Daniel 12:9

What did God seal up until the time of the end? The answer is obvious, His return information. While most are quoting the above versus, others are studying, (watching), as instructed. Why would they watch? For more information of course.

Let’ take a deeper look into these passages by looking at the Greek.

About yet the day that and the hour not-yet-one has-perceived not-yet the messengers of the heavens if no the Father of Me only. Matthew 24:36

Does it take on a little bit different meaning now? Albeit rougher english, the passage is more in line with the its real meaning.
At the time of Christ saying it, no one knew, only God. But would it always be that way? Not according to the words in this verse.

We want to be as accurate as possible and true to the word of God.

Mt 24:36 but/yet/now concerning that day and hour not one has known/seen (rai-3s), neither the messengers/angels of the heavens, except my father only/singly/alone

Mk 13:32 but/yet/now concerning that day and hour not one has known/seen (rai-3s), neither the messengers/angels, the ones in heaven, nor the son, except the father

“The tense of oida in both verses is perfect active indicative, meaning a past completed action, or in this case, a past condition in which this knowledge (understanding or comprehension) did not exist. I believe the perfect also indicates this condition prevailed at the time it was spoken. But what about the future?
I don’t believe the perfect tense tells us about the future, whether this knowledge can ever be known. In fact, we know when Christ does come, people alive at that time will obviously know the day and hour as they see the world coming to an end. And surely Christ, after He comes, will know what time He came! So I don’t see how the perfect tense here could mean this knowledge will never be known. Unfortunately this is how most people understand this statement, that this knowledge has not been known, is not known, and never will be known, which is not accurate.”

God gave us some very good clues to the end of time.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors. Mark 13: 28,29
This was a wonderful sign that God gave us. One of the first big pointing signs that we are nearing the end.

God tells us in I Thessalonians 5:4-6

But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

    That day?
After all the talk about not knowing the day, now God says that day should not overtake us?
What’s going on? God reveals, God conceals. God gives us history and opens up mystery.
As the day approaches, He wants us to know about it. Think about it. Did He not warn Lot when He sent destruction? He gave
40 days to the Ninevites and Noah preached for 120 years, the final 7 days knowing the very day of the rains. Would Elohim in His
great mercy, also let us know the day of judgment at some point in time? Actually hiding it until the time of the end?
Knowing how He has warned peoples, of the very day in these past events, why would God change now?

    That day?
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more,
as ye see the day approaching. – Hebrews 10: 25

And how would some people know?
Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man’s heart discerneth both time and judgment. Ecclesiates 8:5

God is telling us that the wise man will know we are approaching judgment day.
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Revelation 3:3

Received and heard what? The knowledge of the end. We are also instructed to both hold fast (God knows the perplexing times we live in) and
repent (change course and be sorry for our sins.)

God is making another statement about knowing. If we don’t watch He will come on us as a theif and we will not know. Reversing that of course means that we are to watch and know. Read it again. After all God has told us about coming as a thief in the night, he says here to be watching so he will not come upon us as a thief!
So, the question is, when would God allow us to know? He tells Daniel: But thou, O Daniel, shut up the works, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. – Daniel 12:4
Knowledge increased? You can say that again. There is so much communication these days, we don’t go a moment without getting some electronic input from many sources. What a great opportunity to get the word out by these means.

And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. Daniel 12: 9,10
Are you among the wise? Are you studying instead of thinking and saying, No man knows!

Not only does God tell us that knowledge will be sealed but then loosed at the end, He tells us that many will be repenting but many will not understand, but the wise WILL understand. We know that we are at the end, because of the signs and at the end of time, know even the day of His return.
Isn’t this the perfect test? Don’t we hear many mocking and scoffing? We also hear many churches quoting, “no man knows…” This is a dividing line. Dividing the wheat from the tares. Those who are truly searching the end times and those, secure in their knowledge that whenever He comes, “I’m ready.”

But, are they really ready? God warns us: For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say,
Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. I Thessalonians 5:2,3

A stern warning from God. He is saying that those who declare that the Lord IS coming as a thief in the night, shall not escape destruction!

And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. – Matthew 26: 6-8

Isn’t it interesting in this passage, Ten Christians who were anticipating the Lord’s return heard the cry made at midnight (the time, not literally perhaps). All of them heard the cry at midnight and awoke; Five of them were considered wise. We hear so many these days saying, “we know its close” or “its right at hand” or “any day now” or “soon.” Five whom were ready went in with the Lord to the marriage feast – they were running to the wedding feast because they knew the time of it. “Go ye out to meet him.” How could we unless we knew when?

    Stamping Out Harold Camping

I don’t care a fig for date-setters, especially those who predict when Christ will return. The current champion is 89-year-old, headline-grabbing Harold Camping of Family Radio fame.
Is Second Coming date-setter Harold Camping worthy of death? He already has a zero batting average after his September 1994 prediction fizzle and, according to the Bible, is a false prophet.
Nevertheless that California shaman, who should be ashamed, claims he’s found out that Christ’s return will be on May 21, 2011 even though Matt. 24:36 says that no one knows the “day” or “hour” of it!
A Google article (“Obama Fulfilling the Bible”) points out that “Deut. 18:20-22 in the Old Testament requires the death penalty for false prophets.”
The same article reveals that “Christians are commanded to ask God to send severe judgment on persons who commit and support the worst forms of evil (see I Cor. 5 and note ‘taken away’).”
Theologically radioactive Harold Camping and his ga-ga groupies (with their billboards featuring “May 21, 2011”) should worry about being “stamped out” if many persons decide to follow the I Cor. 5 command.
The above article concludes: “False prophets in the OT were stoned to death. Today they are just stoned!”
PS – For many years Camping was not known as a pretrib rapture teacher. But now, for $ome my$teriou$ rea$on, he seeks support from those who believe in and teach an imminent, pretrib rapture which supposedly will occur SEVERAL YEARS BEFORE the traditional SECOND COMING to earth! For a behind-the-scenes, documented look at the 181-year-old pretrib rapture belief (which was never a part of any official theology or organized church before 1830!), Google “Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty,” “Pretrib Rapture Diehards” and “Pretrib Rapture – Hidden Facts.” These are from the pen of journalist/historian Dave MacPherson a.k.a the “Pretrib Rapture Answerman” & the “Rush Limbaugh of the Rapture” – author of the bestselling book “The Rapture Plot,” an “encyclopedia” of pretrib rapture history (see Armageddon Books).

Today the unsaved have turned this world into a nightmare where our children are not even safe in the classroom. Their desires have nearly wrecked this planet. Their greed has have left our financial organizations bankrupt. Their unwholesome was desires have turned TV and the arts into a toilet. Their crassness is applauded by the world while making a mockery of all that is good and Godly. The people are led by their own violence, lust and greed and sinfulness. Just see what is on television and learn what people desire. There is nothing wholesome or Godly left in their desires, that is why the end is near!
