The Russian cargo spacecraft Progress M-64 has successfully docked with International Space Station, bringing loads of necessary supplies..New York (ChattahBox) – The Russian cargo spacecraft Progress M-64 has successfully docked with International Space Station, bringing loads of necessary supplies.

The Russian cargo spacecraft was an unmanned mission which brought 5,000 pounds of supplies to the crew at the International Space Station, including nearly 3,000 pounds of parts needed for various tasks.

The spacecraft launched last Wednesday on the back of a Soyuz rocket, marking the 29th cargo mission to the International Space Station.

Next up for NASA is the big Discovery launch on May 31 from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Discovery will be bringing a big piece of the Japanese space laboratory Kibo to the International Space Station for installation.
