Earthquake Survivors In China In Need Of Shelter

Chinese officials are seeking millions of tents from the international aid community to help earthquake survivors who are now homeless..Beijing (ChattahBox) – Chinese officials are seeking millions of tents from the international aid community to help earthquake survivors who are now homeless.

There have been around 40,000 tents sent out thus far, with 3 million or more still needed to help those who are now homeless from the huge earthquake.

The 7.9-magnitude earthquake left nearly 50,000 buildings devastated, along with many private homes.

The death toll is currently around 50,000, with nearly 30,000 still mission. The level of international aid has been great, with plenty of money rolling in. The biggest need right now though is for immediate shelter.

There are still millions who have no home and no where to gain any type of shelter in China.
