Nigerian Soldiers Die In Attack On Shell Oil Pipeline

Reports state that militants in the Niger Delta have managed to kill 11 soldiers in an attack on the Nigerian oil pipeline.  The oil pipeline was owned by Royal Dutch Shell..London (ChattahBox) – Reports state that militants in the Niger Delta have managed to kill 11 soldiers in an attack on the Nigerian oil pipeline. The oil pipeline was owned by Royal Dutch Shell.

There has yet to be any official deaths confirmed from the attack, but the militants have apparently managed to blow up a flow station.

The operation was carried out by The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta. They are responsible for a series of attacks and sabotage on oil facilities since 2006.

The leader of the group insists that they are pushing to gain a bigger share of revenue from oil.
