N. Korea Threatens To Fire Missile At Hawaii

June 18, 2009

US (ChattahBox) – President Obama and South Korean President Lee Myung-bak met in Washington this week to discuss building a strong, united front with stricter sanctions against North Korea, among speculation that the Communist regime plans to file a missile into one of Hawaii’s smaller islands.

While the missile would not have the distance capacity to hit Hawaii’s main islands, the threat is further proof of the growing instability North Korea has been showing on an International front.

However, their attempts at provoking with threats has so far not brought the response they were hoping for. After threatening that they would give a ‘thousand fold military action’ against the countries fighting against their nuclear program, the response was a promise from several members of the UN to enforce much stricter sanctions, and warnings to be issued from various sources, such as the US, S. Korea, China, and Russia.

The newest information released by a Japanese news report, which states that Japanese and American Intelligence has found that Pyongyang plans to fire a missile into Hawaii between July 4 and July 8 has not been confirmed.

Whether the reports are true or not, it is becoming increasingly obvious that a resolution must be more aggressively sought, a point that was addressed between President Obama and President Lee Myung-bak.

“If we acknowledge North Korea possessing nuclear programs, other non-nuclear countries in Northeast Asia would be tempted to possess nuclear weapons and this would not be helpful for stability in Northeast Asia,” the South Korean leader was quoted as saying by CBS News.

The White House has not so far released a statement on the possible N. Korean missile launch into US territory.

Let me get this straight: A backward, one might even say mostly-Stone-Age nation which has possibly 2 or 3 rather low-yield and unreliable nuclear weapons, is threatening to fire one of them at a nation which has the capability to convert all of North Korea into a glass-paved parking lot?

I think if I were a North Korean citizen, and heard about this, I would head for the nearest border and beg either South Korea or China for asylum, since Kim Jong Il obviously belongs in one.

We have enough fire power in one carrier battle group to totally destroy the north with conventional wpns. Forget the fact that even hard line communists are against their actions. Aggressive sanctions in this case are a joke. Patriot batteries in s Korea can handle a missile launch. Park our cruise missiles in Pyongyang and settle this matter once and for all.

whether it was only a passing idle threat or, if Hawaii, Alaska or Southren California is
no longer on the map, this situation will never be over from this day and time on. North
Korea has nuclear weapons, it is only a matter of time before Iran has them, if they don’t
already. And as each year goes by, it seems that more countries are attempting to
develope their own nuclear weapons…including those countries who sponsor terrorist
organizations. It’s becoming very clear, to anyone who is willing to see things as they
are, that this world we live in gets more dangerous as time goes on. If you really want to
be honest with yourself, consider in your own mind, do you suppose it is only a matter
of time before a nuclear war breaks loose on this planet? I wouldn’t want to be a
nonbeliever when it happens. Earlier this year, I made a sincere decission to call upon
the Lord for forgiviness of the sins in my life, and repented from sin for the remission of
sins. (No one in this life will ever be perfect…you still try) I’m now 55 years old, and for
years I fooled myself with the notion that everything will work out fine as it was. If you
have never became a christian, YOU ARE PLAYING THE FOOL, AS I WAS FOR THE
ever considered whether you will have advanced warning if your hometown became the
target for an approaching nuclear missile. Most likely not. Do you think your government
is willing to panic it’s people who they cannot save anyway? Television shows will
not be interupted by “special news bulletins”. The Emergancy Broadcast System will
not air on radio. You’ll hear no air raid sirens. No hysterical people in the streets. There
will be no mass of people killing and running over each other in a mad rush to get away
from town as far and as fast as they possibly can. And no one who is not already a
christian will be making last minute decissions to call upon the Lord…No one will know
what’s coming. When the initial nuclear flash hits, this life is over in a billointh of a
second. Those who are not saved will suddenly be in Hell, wondering what happened
and how they got there so quickly, while the thurmosphere explosion is still scortching
away the ground where their hometown was only seconds before. If you go to Hell lost,
and someday stand before God in judgement before you and the rest of Hell are cast
into the Lake of Fire for eternity, you will remember each time someone spoke to you
about your spiritual condition…including what you’ve just read.
Some people believe the Lake of Fire is the molten core of the Earth. Would you bet
    your soul it’s not?

I shall speak my mind to this:
the previous comment may have some sense here, what if it does break into a nuclear war? HA! and to think that i am willing to be with a ”Almighty god” i will never accept a Human as my god, to me god is nothing but threating me with these words ”Follow my guidance, accept my salvation, Follow my word, obey my command, or i shall sentence you to hell” hehehehe, like if i would obey a god that sentences even the good people in this world to hell, like i would have no choice but to obey him and follow him, and if i don’t do it, i’ll go to hell!?…Meaningless, i shall do nothing towards that threat, who would follow someone who threatens you to hell like that? i know i wouldn’t, i rather be in hell than obey a dead human.
