Two New Mozart Compositions Discovered In Austria

July 24, 2009

Austria (ChattahBox) – Two formerly unknown compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart have been discovered, and are set to be played for the press next month.

“The Department of Research at the International Mozarteum Foundation Salzburg has identified two works, which have long been in the possession of the Foundation, as compositions of the young Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart,” the department was quoted by The Telegraph, in an official statement on the matter.

But the foundation is remaining tight-lipped on any details about the compositions themselves, saying only that the press will have the chance to hear them for themselves on August 2.
