Fire In Kazakhstan Kills Dozens Of Drug Addicts And Hospital Staff

Kazakhstan (ChattahBox) – An estimated 38 people have been killed after a fire broke out at a hospital used to treat drug addicts.

The fire, which is still going on hours after it began, consumed over 7,000 square feet, and swept through the building, leaving 40 patients and staff members able to get out, but a tragic 38 dead.

The unnamed clinic is located in the city of Taldykorgan, and the Deputy Prime Minister, Serik Akhmetov, has been ordered to the area to investigate the cause of the fire, as well as why is spread so quickly, and killed so many.

This is one of 100,000 fires that have occurred in the country, due to low-standard safety protocols in many businesses and centers.
