April 12, 2010

Russian (ChattahBox) – A federal judge in Moscow has been shot dead outside of his home by an unknown assailant who is still at large.

Eduard Chuvashov was leaving his apartment to go to work when an unknown gunmen shot him and fled the scene.

Chuvashov was a well known and respected federal judge that recently tried a case involved nine members of neo-Nazi group the White Wolves, who were responsible for several racially motivated murders.

He has also been involved with trying other Nationalist cases, as well as cases involving corrupted government officials.

The shooter was caught on security cameras shooting and then fleeing the scene, and is described as a white male in his early 20’s.

Police believe the shooting may be related to a case Chuvashov tried last week, convicting a teenage ring leader of a Nazi group of the deaths of three immigrants.

He has reportedly been receiving death threats for months, but refused to hire bodyguards for his protection.
