Israeli Soldiers Break Out Their Toes, Toes, to Ke$ha (Video)

July 6, 2010

(ChattahBox)—Today’s viral video shows a group of armed Israeli soldiers in the West Bank, breaking out in dance moves, including spins and twirls, to crank songstress Ke$ha’s hit song “Tick Tock.” Because the soldiers were on duty, the military higher-ups weren’t pleased with their tripping the light fantastic and tried to remove the video from YouTube. But too late–it’s gone viral.

Perhaps the Israeli soldiers drew inspiration form the hilarious dancing video produced by the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division in Afghanistan, to Lady Gaga’s hit “Telephone.”

Entitled, “Telephone: The Afghanistan Re-make,” it also went viral after it was posted on Facebook, to the embarrassment of the outlandishly costumed soldiers in the video.

The six Israeli soldiers are shown in the video walking on patrol in Hebron, as the sounds of the Muslim call to prayer is heard in the background. Suddenly Ke$ha’s “Tick Tock” is heard and the fun begins.

The YouTube video was shown on Israeli TV, exposing the Israeli infantrymen to possible disciplinary action.
