Bin Laden Living in Pakistani Home, NATO Source Says

October 18, 2010

(ChattahBox World News) – Despite the long-standing image of Osama bin Laden crouching a in a cave giving orders to his minions, the reality is that he is living in “relative comfort” in a Northwest Pakistani home, according to a CNN report.

A senior source at NATO indicated that top al Qaeda deputy Ayman al-Zawahiri is staying in a separate home near bin Laden within the same Pakistani region. In addition, Taliban leader Mullah Omar is also in Pakistan, the NATO official said.

Rehman Malik, interior minister in Pakistan, contradicted the report, indicating that the al Qaeda leaders are not in Pakistan, and that anyone with information proving otherwise should alert Pakistani officials so they can make an arrest, CNN reported.

The Taliban must no longer rely on recruiting soldiers who share their extremist ideology — the NATO official noted that nearly a million “disaffected” young men who live along the Afghan-Pakistan border could be recruited by the group to perform criminal activities in exchange for cash.

The current U.S. strategy is to pressure the Taliban into negotiating with the Afghan government by increasing airstrikes and ground attacks, CNN reported, with the expectation that some insurgent leaders will eventually turn their backs on al Qaeda so they can return to Afghanistan.

The notion that Osama Bin Laden is living comfortably in Pakistan is so preposterous that its author may get a Nobel for a Mythical Invention!
And since the Nobel Prizes are given out by the Norwegians to anyone who embarrass the foes of the U.S., this story, deliberately propagated to
embarrass Pakistan, should qualify for a newly invented Nobel! And those who mights think: “Wait a moment. Pakistan is our ally, isn’t it?” Well, no it is not! 95% of the Pakistanis hate the U.S., but the Pakistani government reluctantly cooperate with the U.S. for money! Pakistan, therefore, is an ally on paper only – and that means green!

Are Bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri so stupid to hide in Pakistan, where the CIA has a 3.000 mercenary army looking for them, and where the CIA pay bribes to any top political or military official for their cooperation? If they were that stupid, someone would have snitched on them to collect the $ 25.000.000 U.S. booty for each of them – as someone in Iraq gave up Saddam Hussein’s hideout and became an instant “multimillionaire!” Now, the Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) allegation that it is part of protecting Bin Laden and al-Zawahiri. The U.S. has pushed for changes in the ISI leadership, and the current ISI commander, General Ahmad Shuja Passa, was appointed with U.S. blessing, and he has been in Washington numerous times for consultation. But the U.S. still claims that there are “elements of ISI that act on their own!” Does The ISI has “two faces?” If it does, it is a matter of Pakistani policy, not “rogue ISI elements” sabotaging their government!

What is then the purpose of these U.S. splashed headlines – supposedly by NATO, about Osama and Ayman living a comfy life in Pakistan with Pakistani protection? Well, There are “two” possibilities: a) Embarrass and discredit the Pakistani government – which is a U.S. ongoing campaign, and b) The U.S. may have some information about Osama and Ayman hiding in another country, and splashes these headlines about knowing that they live in Pakistan to make them feel safe, until it confirm the information and mount a raid to capture them. In other words, they want Osama and Ayman to think: “The U.S. is looking only in Pakistan for us. So, we are secure here in [example] Senegal.”

Can the CIA outfox Osama and Ayman? Well, after 637 failed attempts over 40 years to eliminate Fidel Castro, the CIA outfoxing record speaks for itself! But above all, Osama and Ayman will never be captured. They carry cyanide capsules to swallow if that time comes. And they have sowed the seeds against the U.S. which would probably grow faster with their martyrdom. Most Muslims believe that the Americans wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are against them, but they are falsely saddled on Al Qaeda to justify them. Nikos Retsos, retired professor

I really appreciate your thoughts on this and you may be right that the media is being manipulated. But given that I believe many Americans have always been skeptical of our partnership with Pakistan, why “Embarrass and discredit the Pakistani government – which is a U.S. ongoing campaign.” Are you saying our government is doing this smearing covertly or that the media has its own agenda? And for what purpose?
